Poppies - triptych by spyroteknik Poppies - triptych by spyroteknik
Acrylic on wood panel triptych 12x12

Redecorated, missus wanted new images for the front room

Here they are in place all framed with a couple of w.i.ps - [link]

(they do line up properly, just really bad photos)

Always interesting when you see the work of someone whom, as far as you're aware, only works in a digital medium, produce something using classic media.

Gorgeous, Martin! I really like your choice of colours here: the vibrant red against that strange-looking blue grey.

Thanks Eleni, the photos might have added a little bit more punch :) (taken in daylight), it is greyscale with the crimson/brilliant red, but the lamp black and titanium white do seem to take on a little bit of a blue hue

Greyscale is just as good. Love it either way!

Very nicely done, Martin. I like your feel for subtle use of colour.

:D I once had the same problem aligning the photos of both halves of a diptych. It happens.

Thanks  , yep, I thought I'd taken them all from the same position but they ended up a bit wiggly hehe, should've tried to find my little tripod :)

What is really important is the way they look together on the wall. :D
