Wow. This is incredibly creepy, but impressive and intriguing enough that once I got my little brother off of my shoulder (so I wouldn't freak him out, LOL. The regularTeletubbies are scary enough to give me nightmares!) I studied it further, which I don't usually do for darker images.
Obviously I can't know exactly what you were thinking when you made this, but what I do see is interesting, whether you created this with seriousness, or, more likely, humor. I don't know if the Teletubbies thing is just because they're creepy or because of the controversy, but if it is the later, I find it especially interesting, since the controversy is over supposed subliminal messages being delivered to the viewers, that being, of course, children. The world being destroyed by such (modern technology and presumably by the messages transmitted through it) is an interesting concept, one, like I said, that I don't know if you are poking fun at or what the case is, but regardless, the concept is very well put together here.
Of course, the Teletubbies aren't the only images, I know, but the ones that stood out to me the most, as the title is "The Modern Horsemen", horsemen being four, and four Teletubbies. I especially like the last Teletubbie's (Tinky Winky, right? Oh my gosh, I shouldn't know that) screen being broken, the one that would presumably say "near". It makes me think they're saying, no, "the end isn't near", the end is here!
Evil or not, the Teletubbies freak me out. While Barney rocked my socks, and Blues Clues was all right for my little bro, the Teletubbies scared me, and I was a kid who would -- and did, in fact -- allow a (live, yes) boa constrictor to be wrapped around me and sit a (again, live) tiger in my lap, albeit he was only about 10 weeks old and 75 lbs. Something is not right about those...whatever-the-heck-they-are-s!
Yes, well, a wry look at seriousness, the dumbing down and control of society through the different mediums, the controversial aspect certainly, the ipod generation, HAARP tech etc, whacked a lot in there to chew on, thankyou for taking the time to review, much appreciated
